Job Purpose

Executing the risk-based IA strategy for AAM by performing financial, operational, and compliance audits. IAE shall also perform ad hoc reviews, which may be requested by AAM Management / Board from time to time. IAE is also responsible for other professional and administrative internal audit tasks assigned by the IA Assistant Manager / Director.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform audits as per Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and Guidelines. Ensure that deliverables are of high quality and are completed on time and within the allocated budget.                                                                                                                    
  • Complete all assigned internal audit engagements for the year as per the IA Strategy.                                                                                         
  • Conduct special audits (ad-hoc reviews) and other tasks as assigned by the IA Assistant Manager/ Director.                                                                                    
  • Prepare and maintain internal audit working papers, IA Memos, administrative records, and other internal communications as per Records Management and IIA Working Paper Standards.
  • Identifies and analyzes causes of uneconomic and inefficient practices; assesses alternatives that might yield desired results.
  • Develops recommendations for bringing programs and operations into compliance with goals and objectives, and write reports on documenting findings.
  • Lead audits, compliance reviews, and assessments for automotive technical processes, ensuring adherence to Internal Audit standards
  • Visit locations to evaluate automotive service quality, operational effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory, OEM, HSES, and company requirements
  • Leverage audit and automotive systems (SAP, Power BI, TeamMate+, TMC Oasis etc.) to support audit activities
  • Maintain expertise in automotive technologies and share technical insights with the Internal Audit team

Required Qualifications

  • Education - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
  • Professional/Technical Certifications 
  • Years of Experience - 4 Years
  • Automotive experience at Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM India), Toyota Philippines or any other TMC country entities
