Job Purpose

To handle the evaluation, sourcing, and acquisition of pre-owned vehicles for the CPOV Department, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and supporting sales initiatives to achieve business targets and profitability. 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase pre-owned vehicles from vendors, individuals, and other channels, ensuring profitability and alignment with business targets. 
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations of all company vehicles converted to the Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV) program, including (employee & test drive)  de-fleeting vehicles for resale. 
  • Ensure accurate pricing by assessing vehicle condition, market trends, and resale potential. 
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor pricing, and demand trends to support effective purchasing decisions. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and individual sellers to ensure a steady pipeline of vehicles. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards during the purchasing process. 
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly purchasing and evaluation reports to support business planning and decision-making. 
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth vehicle onboarding and readiness for sale. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing operations to enhance efficiency and performance.   
  • Ensure the vehicles purchased from vendors have zero violations and valid road permit. 
  • Handle the transfer of purchased vehicle via metrash or traffic department . 
  • Handle the transfer of comprehensive insurance from customer name to AAM . 
  • Execute related transaction via SAP and Salesforce. 
  • Coordinate with Finance team to complete the payment transaction . 
  • Coordinate with new vehicle sales , CPOV to complete trade-in transaction.  
  • Responsible for documentation of purchased vehicles and provide weekly/monthly reports to Line manager on the purchased vehicles status. Provide feedback to the management on vehicles failed to purchase and solutions to enhance the purchasing process and quality.
