Leather Restoration Technician

Job Purpose

Perform upholstery repair, refurbishment, and maintenance services for vehicle interiors, including seats, door panels and other trim components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities

• Inspect vehicle upholstery to identify damage or defects.      
• Repair or replace damaged upholstery materials, including leather, fabric, and vinyl.
• Color-match leathers for seamless repairs.                           
• Use appropriate tools, adhesives, and sewing machines to complete repairs.
• Collaborate with service advisors and customers to understand specific repair requests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the upholstery bay.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures during all repair activities.
• Maintain inventory of upholstery materials and tools.

Required Qualifications

High School

Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant job scope.
