Job Purpose

To be the company representative in all official and governmental affairs, with full observance of Qatari laws and regulations. The position is responsible for the monitoring of all government transactions, documents, and formalities, as well as for creating efficient relations with public institutions and government agencies to facilitate smooth and seamless business operations.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Process and handle all government dealings regarding visas, residence permits, company registration, trade licenses, and vehicle-related documents.
  • Handle ministries, municipalities, immigration, labor, traffic departments, and other government departments interested in company matters.
  • Follow up with hospitals, courts, police stations, and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in case of employee related matters such as legal cases, clearances, or documentation.
  • Ensure prompt filing and renewal of all official applications, licenses, and permits to avoid any delay or fine.
  • Remain current with Qatari labor, immigration, and commercial law to guarantee compliance by the company with all applicable laws.
  • Help the HR Department with the processing of employee government procedures like work permits, medicals, QID issuance and renewal, and exit permits if required.
  • Arrange, prepare, and maintain proper records for all government correspondence, approvals, and official documents.
  • Present the company in a professional manner and maintain a good reputation in any interaction with government authorities and public institutions.
  • Monitor government policy changes or updates and advise the management on timely action to be taken.
  • Perform any other related duties as instructed by the management to aid in administration and compliance with the law.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with work responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid Qatari Driving License (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Training or certification in Qatar Labour Law, Immigration Procedures, or Government Relations is preferred
  • Proficiency in using government portals such as Hukoomi, Metrash, MOI, and Ministry of Labour systems.
  • Certification in computer applications (MS Office) is an advantage.
