Estimation Engineer

Job Purpose

Review technical specifications and provide estimation and technical guidance, and solutions to internal and external customers based on technical drawings and specifications for the ELV projects.  

Principal Accountabilities

• Identify & understand the contract scope of work, design specifications, and technical drawings, in order to prepare estimation and commercial proposals based on project requirements.
• Prepares and analyzes BOQ after considering various aspects of the projects to accomplish cost effectiveness.
• Conducts inspections and submits reports for demand planning and material forecasting purposes.
• Coordinate with ELV vendors to provide the most suitable solutions for the project's requirements.
• Provides technical support to the sales and technical team in the execution of the ELV projects.
• Preparation of Quotations, Costing, Pro-forma invoices for the customers and projects as per the set standard price.
• Preparation of required bid documents, which includes commercial, technical & material submittals.
• Support the sales team in processing customers’ orders. Support the sales department with other administrative tasks, as directed by the supervisors and managers.    
• Maintain an Accurate Database of customer and prospect Information. Follow up with lost sales customers to generate leads and close sales.               
• Work with the Direct manager on reducing the ageing of the material by highlighting the open SO's and ensuring the sales representative completes the same.

Required Qualifications

Education  - Bachleor's Degree

Years of Experience - Minimum 5 years in similar Profile
