Breakdown Driver

Job Purpose

 Responsible for responding to vehicle breakdown calls, reaching the location quickly, and safely recovering or towing vehicles. The role requires safe driving, basic vehicle handling knowledge, and good customer support skills.

Principal Accountabilities

• Respond to breakdown and recovery calls on time
• Drive tow truck / recovery vehicle safely to assigned locations
• Recover, tow, or transport broken-down vehicles
• Assist stranded drivers in a professional manner
• Load and secure vehicles properly before transport
• Follow road safety and company procedures
• Coordinate with dispatch/control room for updates
• Check and maintain recovery vehicle and equipment daily

Required Qualifications

• Valid Heavy/Mid light Qatar driving license
• Experience in towing or recovery driving preferred
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics is an advantage
• Ability to work shifts and emergency call-outs
• Good communication and customer handling skills
• Physically fit to handle recovery equipment
