Job Purpose

To repair and restore damaged vehicle body panels and structures to standards, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities

• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Carry out advanced troubleshooting and corrective actions in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and documented in the service records.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Adhere to company safety standards, policies, and repair procedures.
• Keep up to date with new technologies, technical bulletins, and training programs.
• Communicate effectively with the service advisor/foreman regarding job status and additional required repairs.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational/technical certification in automotive body repair or related field (preferred but not always mandatory).
• Specialized training in denting, welding, or body shop repair is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in body repair/denting (automotive workshop, dealership, or service center).
• Experience with both minor dents (paintless dent repair) and major accident repair (panel replacement, welding).
