Job Purpose
Responsible for performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation across facilities while complying with safety and maintenance standards.
Principal Accountabilities
Carry out preventive maintenance (PPM) for all AC and HVAC equipment as per schedule.
Attend breakdown complaints and troubleshoot AC system faults promptly.
Install, repair, and replace air conditioning units and related components.
Check refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, filters, thermostats, and electrical connections.
Ensure proper functioning of temperature control systems and ventilation equipment.
Identify defective parts and recommend replacement when required.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and service reports.
Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance teams during major repairs or shutdowns.
Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and HSE regulations.
Support emergency maintenance activities when required.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used.
Assist in energy-saving initiatives and efficient operation of HVAC systems.
Report material requirements and spare parts shortages to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School/Diploma
- Min. 3+ years of experience
- Certificate Course in AC / Electrical Trade from a recognized Govt. institution
