Job Purpose

The Solution Design & Delivery Lead mission is to increase the business value delivered by the IT organization and its perception among the business areas and, at the same time, act as a technical leader responsible to define the best technical solution to address business needs having the accountability for the solution definition and its implementation and adoption. The BSM is responsible for all corporate application within his/her domain (Pre-Sales).

 

Responsibilities

Work along with business areas' leaders and team members to determine how to improve processes, services, and maximize business value results for the respective business unit/department.
Proactively sense and anticipate changes affecting strategy in the environmental landscape including organizational improvements, technological advancements, and evolving organization needs.
Works closely with the product owners, product managers, and technical teams to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product life cycle
Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding enterprise solution designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes
Understands emerging technology trends and disruptions and their practical application to enable new and evolving business and operating models 
Establish Business Units (BU) requirements regarding technology and define the best solution to meet the BU's/department needs including the identification of opportunities to leverage new technologies in new business solutions
Translates desired business outcomes into actionable product and technical requirements to drive the development and validation of a technical solution
Works closely with the product managers, product owners, technical teams, and Enterprise Architect peers to enable the necessary agility, scalability and resilience to the IT applications aiming to meet the BU requirements
Work along with technical teams, external partners, and business areas to plan and manage the execution of projects and critical enhancements for the business unit ensuring that the solutions will meet the business needs and deliver the planned benefits
Oversees and facilitates the research, evaluation and selection of new technology solutions for his/her specific business domain

 

Requirements

-Minimum 7+ years of experience

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

- Experience with the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and/or Salesforce in the business domain is mandatory (add other specific requirements for the business domain - e.g.: Proaxia VSS, SAP FI/CO, SAP eWM, etc.)
- Organizationally savvy, with understanding of the political climate of the enterprise and how to navigate obstacles and politics
- Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations and how they relate to achieving targeted business outcomes
- Ability to estimate the financial impact of technology alternatives
- Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to enable future-state business capabilities that, in turn, drive targeted business outcomes
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of existing, new and emerging technologies that enable and drive new business designs and models
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be respected as a leader
- Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (e.g., waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps)
- Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and IT development teams
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
- Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation of projects and products, and organization change management
