Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Public and Agency Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the positive image of Al Abdulghani Motors. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and building strong relationships with public entities and agencies. Your efforts will enhance our brand visibility, support our business objectives, and foster public trust and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with the company's goals and brand image.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key influencers to promote positive coverage of the company.
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms.
  • Manage crisis communication, including developing response strategies and communicating with the media and public during sensitive situations.
  • Organize and oversee events, such as press conferences, product launches, and public appearances, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, public sentiment, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Liaise with government agencies, industry associations, and other external organizations to support advocacy efforts and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
  • Provide communication support and guidance to internal teams and senior management.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of public relations campaigns and activities.

Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
  • Strong network of media and industry contacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in crisis management and public speaking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and its regulatory environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
